- Proof of ordination
- Be at least 18 years old
- Complete and return the marriage license within 6 months
Who Can Officiate in Maryland
- Ordained ministers or clergy of any religious denomination
- Judges and clerks of the circuit court
- Baltimore City clerk of the court
Marriage License Info
Marriage licenses are obtained from the Clerk of the Circuit Court. There is a 48-hour waiting period. The license is valid for 6 months.
